In 2020, Luyang Power Tower Angle Steel won the bid for the Yazhong Jiangxi 800KV ultra-high voltage line angle steel product. The Yazhong Jiangxi ± 800 kV ultra-high voltage direct current transmission project (hereinafter referred to as the "Yazhong Jiangxi Project") starts from the Yalong River converter station in Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province and ends at the Poyang Lake converter station in Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province. The rated capacity is 8 million kilowatts, passing through five provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, and Jiangxi. The total length of the line is 1696 kilometers, with a rated voltage level of ± 800 kV, and a total investment of 24.4 billion yuan. The transmitting end is connected to the Yalong River midstream hydropower base and the Sichuan power grid, while the receiving end is connected to the Jiangxi load center and the Central China power grid.
