The angle steel of Luyang Power Tower has won the bid for the Nanyang Jingmen Changsha ultra-high voltage transmission line project. The Nanyang Jingmen Changsha 1000 kV ultra-high voltage AC project has a total length of 625.8 kilometers and passes through three provinces: Henan, Hubei, and Hunan. The length of Hunan Province is about 169.6 kilometers. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will become the third inter provincial ultra-high voltage channel in Hunan Province, which can increase the power supply capacity of the Hunan region by 2 to 3 million kilowatts, equivalent to 7% to 8% of the total power grid in Hunan Province. The consumption capacity and inter provincial transfer capacity of Hunan Province have been greatly improved, which is more reasonable for the stability of the power grid. In Henan, Hubei, and Hunan provinces, if any province is short of electricity, if other provinces have surplus, electricity can be sent to the corresponding power shortage areas through the ultra-high voltage AC power grid.
