The 1000 kV Jingmen Wuhan ultra-high voltage AC transmission and transformation project has a total length of 233 kilometers, with 458 newly built iron towers passing through 11 counties and districts in Hubei Province. After completion, the project will effectively promote the transformation and upgrading of Hubei's power grid towards the coexistence of transmission and reception ends, as well as the transformation and upgrading of the AC/DC hybrid power grid. It is of great significance for the upgrading of the power grid in Hubei Province during the 14th Five Year Plan period and the enhancement of the power transmission capacity from west to east in Hubei Province.
